Who doesn't like being green?! Which is why I am super excited to have the opportunity to review some Eco-Friendly Food Containers from Go-Green Packaging experts! All of their products are made using a new an innovative proprietary thermoforming process that uses less energy; reducing Carbon dioxideemissions. The Go Green site is designed for small or large business owners but they also have a ton of great products you can use right in your home! They would also be great in Schools and hospitals!
I received three-compartment polypropylene food storage trays with lids for review. These particular trays can be used for snacks, salads, lunches (for work), and are perfect for storing leftovers! All but the lids can be used in the microwave and washed on the top rack of the dishwasher! These are super durable and 100% recyclable. And these containers are better than anything that can be found in the "GladWare" aisle.
Here are some great things they have to offer:
Now if you're like me, my reusable containers are always getting lost (my husband usually leaves them at work and they disappear), so these are so going to come in handy. And Just in time for those holiday leftovers, Go-Green Packaging is giving away 50 of their three-compartment polypropylene food storage trays with lids to one lucky reader! These trays are valued at $50!

When my dad was first diagnosed with cancer it was devastating. He first started showing signs in September of 2006 and was officially diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme or GBM in March 2007. GBM is the most common and most aggressive malignant primary brain tumor.
Since then he has had multiple seizures and has suffered a stroke. Not to mention the paralysis of his right side and Aphasia. My dad can't even have a conversation with me. He used to be a college history professor and a damn good one at that. And taking away his ability to teach and speak is like cutting off a professional piano players fingers. Its total crap and totally unfair. My dad is the kindest, most thoughtful, and brilliant man that I know and he did not deserve this; no one does.
After numerous hospital stays, Chemotherapy, radiation, surgery after surgery, hospice, a feeding tube, paralysis, aphasia, and therapy, its sometimes hard to remember the man he used to be. I forget what his voice sounded like, I can't remember his scent. And I have to look at old photos just to remember what he used to look like.

He now requires around-the-clock care and assistance walking and doing other everyday things. Luckily my mom is one of the strongest and most courageous woman on this earth. She is the best wife/caregiver that my dad could ever ask for.

The day Dad met M. He had to wait almost 2 weeks after she was born to meet her. |
Its hard not to think about the Papa he could have been. He is only
55 and can't get down on the floor to play with his grand-babies or take
them for ice cream or read them stories. I can't even image what he
must feel inside. The pain of missing out and not being able to live
life like he wants. I miss him. I miss my dad! I miss the man he used
to be, the man I wish he was today. I really hate cancer!

Football has started, the weather has gotten colder, and the leaves have already started to fall. I guess this means we have to say good-bye to Summer.
Now that fall has officially begun, M and I thought it was a good idea to start our fall decorating. We had so much fun. We pulled out some pumpkins, leaves, & scarecrows. And we placed our fall window clings. We even went for a walk to pick up some leaves for a fall collage. I can't believe its almost October!

Potty learning
can be difficult some times, but when children have fun and are engaged they
respond in very positive ways. That is why I was so excited to have the
opportunity to review the Potty Time -You Can Do It Pack by Two Little Hands Productions, LLC.
Included
in the "You Can Do It Pack" was a Hopkins plush, a potty reminder
watch, and of course the DVD/CD combo. The potty reminder watch is so
neat. You can set to go off every 30, 60, or 90 minutes to remind your child to try and use the potty. It also has a
"play" mode so you can just hit the button and dance to the
music. This watch is a great addition to ANY potty learning method.
I was very impressed with the overall presentation of the DVD. The music was encouraging and exciting and it made going to the bathroom look like so much fun. My daughter was singing, dancing, celebrating, and learning all at the same time. I even found myself singing along to some of the songs. With this DVD potty learning is a positive and enjoyable experience for both the child and parent.
After watching the show just one time my two year old could do almost all of
the signs. And what impressed
me most was how discrete they were with the words “poop” and
“pee”. They left those signs out of the songs but
included them in the bonus features so you can teach your children whatever
term you want for those signs.

- Potty Dance (Potty, Wipe, Flush, Wash)
- Stop What You're Doing (and Go)
- Uh-oh Accident
Some of the ASL signs taught on this DVD include: Grow,
Love, I Love You (ILY), Help, Amazing, Body, Eat, Drink, Sleep, Wake Up,
Diaper, Potty, Wipe/Clean, Flush, Wash Hands, All Done/Finished, Water, Soap,
Stop, Go, Underwear, Accident, Try, Careful, and Celebrate. However if you watch closely you can learn a
few other signs as well.
Even the bonus features of this DVD are great! They include a silent review of signs and
some other helpful potty learning words like "wet", "dry", and "privacy". Plus it comes with its very own Potty Time
CD, which features 9 original songs, with a sing-along track for each one!
Two Little Hands
productions has also created a whole website dedicated to helping you during
your potty adventure. You’ll find downloadable
potty charts, tips, and even an app for your phone!
I feel that
children learn best with music, movement and fun, which is why Potty Time is
the perfect tool for any potty training
method you choose.
So sing, sign and
dance your way through potty learning with host Rachel Coleman and her animated
pals Leah, Alex, & Hopkins.
Buy it!
You can purchase Potty
Time DVD + Music CD at SigningTime.com for $24.95.
Our fabulous sponsors at Signing Time are giving one lucky reader their very own Potty
Time DVD+Music CD!

Cute little pigtailed Petunia has a big problem with waiting. Her impatience causes disappointment from constantly missing out. It all starts with her taking a bite of an unfinished cake, gross! And by the end of this delightfully written story Petunia gets to experience the benefits of being patient; being able to watch the most beautiful sunset she has ever seen.
Trying to explain to a toddler that they need to wait is hard enough, but in this fast-paced generation where people need instant gratification it is nearly impossible. Which is why I think stories with evident principles are perfect for younger children, especially ones with extraordinary illustrations that bring the story to life. This rhyming story is a great way the teach the significance of patience and what it means to wait.
Be Patient, Petunia is enjoyable for both the child and parent! It is fun to read, with an engaging storyline as well as situations that children can relate to and understand.
Do I Recommend? …uh, yeah!
Buy It:
Although Be Patient, Petunia is available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble, it is cheaper if you purchase if from the author's website Erin's Book & More. An added bonus from purchasing there is that all royalties received will be given to Project Rescue, whose mission is to rescue and redeem victims of overseas sexual slavery. So not only is it cheaper but the proceeds go to a good cause!
Win It:
Erin has generously offered to give one lucky reader a copy of Be Patient, Petunia!!!
To enter fill out the Rafflecopter below. Sorry this giveaway is open to US residents only. Winner will be notified via email and will have 36 hours to respond before another winner will be chosen.

1 lb. hamburger, cooked and drained
1 cup sour cream
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 cups Bisquik
1/2 cup cold water
paprika
2 medium tomatoes, sliced thin
1 cup chopped bell pepper
Salsa, if desired
Directions:
Heat oven to 375°.
Grease a 13x9 pan or a 8x8 pan (for thicker pieces).
Cook & Stir hamburger until done, drain.
Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese & onion. Set aside.
Mix Bisquick until soft dough forms. Pat in pan, pressing dough 1/2 inch up sides. (Wet hands so dough does not stick)
Layer hamburger, tomatoes & pepper in pan; spoon sour cream mixture over top. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake until edges of dough are browned, 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve with Salsa or taco sauce.
**If I am just cooking for my husband, I leave the recipe as is because that's the way his mom used to make it and because he prefers it that way. But if I am planning on eating it too, I add taco seasoning to the meat to give them more flavor.

Not only have I started this workout, but I have also changed my diet a little bit. Nothing too extreme though. I eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and then have whatever I want for dinner (I eat smaller portions and don't go overboard). I have also cut out junk food and replace those cravings with fruit (at it actually works).
What are some of your workout routines? How do you try to stay healthy? Please feel free to leave a comment.
