Bisquick Taco Squares

Ingredients:
1 lb. hamburger, cooked and drained
1 cup sour cream
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 cups Bisquik
1/2 cup cold water
paprika
2 medium tomatoes, sliced thin
1 cup chopped bell pepper
Salsa, if desired

Directions:
Heat oven to 375°.
Grease a 13x9 pan or a 8x8 pan (for thicker pieces).
Cook & Stir hamburger until done, drain.
Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese & onion. Set aside.
Mix Bisquick until soft dough forms. Pat in pan, pressing dough 1/2 inch up sides. (Wet hands so dough does not stick)
Layer hamburger, tomatoes & pepper in pan; spoon sour cream mixture over top. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake until edges of dough are browned, 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve with Salsa or taco sauce.

**If I am just cooking for my husband, I leave the recipe as is because that's the way his mom used to make it and because he prefers it that way.  But if I am planning on eating it too, I add taco seasoning to the meat to give them more flavor.
