Being out of shape sucks. I'm tired of being overweight and I'm tired of not being able to wear the clothes I want. Its been over 2 years since my daughter was born and its time to stop blaming it on the "baby weight". So I decided to start working out to Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (AGAIN). I am no stranger to this video but and I forgot that it kicks your butt. This video is definitely no walk in the park. It does have a segment for beginners but it's still not easy. I powered through today and I'm ready for my second workout tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have to wake up extra early so I can workout uninterrupted because it impossible to get a good workout with a toddler at your feet. I guess this means I need to invest in a scale, maybe seeing the numbers will help motivate me to stay with it. I am hoping to lose at least 35 pounds.
Not only have I started this workout, but I have also changed my diet a little bit. Nothing too extreme though. I eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and then have whatever I want for dinner (I eat smaller portions and don't go overboard). I have also cut out junk food and replace those cravings with fruit (at it actually works).
What are some of your workout routines? How do you try to stay healthy? Please feel free to leave a comment.
