I’m sure you have heard of
them. They are high quality plush with Velcro straps that can be changed from an adorably comfortable pillow into a stuffed animal. They
are extremely soft, cuddly friends that your kids will just adore.
I know what you may be
thinking, “that’s a pricey
pillow.” But they are so much more than just a pillow. They are super versatile
“friends” that are great for trips, play time, nap time, bedtime, and a cuddly
companion that your child won’t want to put down. What I love about Pillow Pets is
just how easily they transform from a cuddly friend to a pillow. There’s a strap underneath that secures with
Velcro when you are not using it as a pillow. It holds the animal together very
well and makes it super easy for the kids to play with or carry around. I also like that there is a fabric flap that
covers the rough part of the Velcro and keeps it from getting filled with lint
or tearing up other parts of the pillow.
The fact that these are so
versatile makes them the perfect travel buddy and an all around snuggly friend
the kids can take with them wherever we go.
The stitching is consistent and
they are sewn well. The fur does not come off on anything and there are no
missing patches of fur. These My Pillow
Pets are multi-functional. They're soft and nice for both adults and children
to hug and cuddle at night. I really think that the price is reasonable when
you consider that these toys provide “companionship”, possible security
comfort, and are perfectly portable for children or adults to travel with in
the car.

As a Homeschooling Mama, I am always looking for quality material to supplement our curriculum. I am so happy that I recently had the pleasure of trying this amazing program.
Divided into 4 basic lessons, this program is designed to keep your child on engaged. Their reading lesson covers phonemic awareness,
phonics, sight words, vocabulary and reading comprehension. The spelling lesson is an
advanced vocabulary program, which improves language skills one word at a time
and consists of over 150,000 words. Next is the Math lesson, which covers
numbers and operations, geometry, measurement (including time and money),
algebraic thinking and data analysis. Last but not least K5 offers a Math facts lessons that use
adaptive technology to help kids develop instant recall of basic addition,
subtraction, multiplication and division facts. Progress on each and every math
fact is monitored until mastery is obtained.
Both parent and student have their own
individual sign on and cannot be sign on at the same time. In the parent portal you are able to view
brief or detailed reports, Assign Lessons, Add Spelling Words, and print FREE
worksheets. The worksheets that I have printed and used perfectly complement their lessons! Although it would be nice to have to option to "print all" instead of one by one, I love the corresponding worksheets. Switching between students on the progress
page is simple. The whole program is
very user friendly!
I also love that the sequence of the lessons are controlled and do not jump around. Kids cannot select lessons at inappropriate levels or continually repeat “fun" lessons they have already mastered. The student dashboard is ‘perfectly’ simple. They have minimal navigational choices, are given no access to external links or online ads and basically have to focus on the task at hand.

The price is right, the content is great, and the program is super easy to use. I appreciate that this program allows for academic freedom and builds confidence by allowing you to customize the lessons. K5 gives you the freedom to remove and assign different lessons to best it your child’s individual needs. My daughter loves dinosaurs, she always has. That being said, I am always looking for quality, non-toxic, and durable dinosaur toys. These dinosaurs seem to fit the bill quite nicely. They are great for imaginative play.
My favorite thing about this particular brand is their attention to detail. For being plastic toys they are pretty life-like. They are lightweight, durable, and the perfect size for little hands. Not too small and not too big. The vibrant and realistic colors couldn’t be more perfect.
Although it can be fun researching with the little ones to find out which is which, an informational page with the name, picture, and a little blurb about each dinosaur would make this brand stand out. The only minor shortcoming I noticed was that a few of the dinosaurs do not stand-alone which may cause frustration for some children, especially those that play with more than 2 at a time like my daughter (who likes to line them all up in a row).
Overall this set is very nice and would make a great gift for that little dinosaur enthusiast in your life. I received these in exchange for an unbiased review but did notice the regular price. Make sure to buy while on sale because as with any dinosaur toy they are not cheap.
I originally wanted this bag for my nephew to use as a duffle for karate but it is very large. I liked the fact that it could fold flat and be stored in a drawer while not in use. It is super lightweight but may be too big for my 6-year-old nephew to carry his gear in. When I received this bag for review and first opened it, I was stunned at just how big it was since it truly does fold flat. I was also surprised to find it easy to zip from fully open to perfectly flat; it just takes a matter of seconds.
The product itself seems very well made. The zippers are not cheap plastic, the outer material feels durable, and can be easily wiped clean. The bottom of the bag is reinforced with a thin pad for extra carrying support. One of the side pockets is vented and perfect for soiled socks/clothes that need to air out.
I noticed that the stitching was consistent and all of the stress points seemed to be strongly reinforced with extra stitching. Also the handles are securely attached so I do not see them wearing and popping the seam if the bag gets heavy. Although I prefer the handles, you can carry this bag easily by either the handles or adjustable shoulder strap. The handles can be closed together with the Velcro wrap which makes it easier to carry.
This bag is the perfect size for the gym, travel, or laundry if you have to go to the Laundromat. Definitely not intended to be used as a carry on though, it is probably much too big.
Since this makes a great gift for anyone, I may buy one for my brother in law who is a traveling musician.
I recommend.
This little vanity set is adorable. It's not too big and not too small. Assembly is easy and timely. When I received this in exchange for an honest review, I knew the perfect little girl to give it to. My daughter loves dressing up, playing princess, and "getting ready" with Mommy so this was a perfect fit. I love that this vanity is easily carried from room to room, so she can bring it into the bathroom to get ready with me and then back to her room when she wants to play. The changing lights were a huge hit with my daughter as well, although she keeps it on purple since that's her favorite color at the moment. The accessories fit nicely inside the drawer with room to spare. My daughter loves that she can "lock" her drawer with her little star key. When unlocked, the drawer opens and closes with ease. What princess is complete without her magic wand?? This one has super "special powers" with neat little sound effects.
This product came with stickers that needed to be applied so I let my daughter put them on herself to really make it her own.
Batteries would be a nice addition to this lovely vanity but its not a deal breaker.
If you have a child from the age of 3-5 this is a great gift.

When you order online sometimes the pictures are totally deceiving. That is true of these...but in a good way. The pictures for this fire truck do not do it justice. I was pleasantly surprised when we opened it. The detail of the truck is very intricate and the plastic is quite sturdy. This is definitely one of the better RC fire trucks I have seen. I like that the controller is easy to use and fits perfectly in little hands. The siren is a nice touch as well.
Batteries are always something I look for in remote control vehicles, this one just so happens to come with batteries for BOTH pieces and bonus they are RECHARGEABLE! Often times companies will only give you batteries for the actual vehicle and not the controller itself, so this is definitely a plus!
Needless to say this fire truck is super fun (for all ages above 2) and would make a great gift for that special child in your life.
