Your Santa Story DVD Review & Giveaway

These days, kids grow up way too fast so what better way to keep the spirit of believing alive than with a customized message from Santa Claus himself?  And thanks to founder Doug Johnson and all of the wonderful Moms and Dads at “Your Santa Story”, Santa can "visit" your living room on Christmas.

"Your Santa Story" is a custom-made DVD that features a realistic Santa Claus.  He addresses your family and speaks directly to each child by name.  He then tells a family story, acknowledges a milestone, or says anything else you choose.  He can even tell them that since they have been so good this year, he has left one more gift somewhere in the house...and then reveals the hiding spot! These DVDs are available in sign language and for military, expatriate, or Spanish-speaking families.

Since M has only had 2 Christmases, we don’t have any traditions in place yet.  But now with the suggestion of “Your Santa Story” we have decided to leave carrots out on the porch for the reindeer, I know that M will just love that.

I remember when I was a growing up we would all sit down the day after Thanksgiving and write Santa a letter.  We couldn't wait to put them in the mailbox and get a reply.  As for M and our newest tradition...our city has a Letters to Santa program.  We can drop her letter to Santa off at City Hall and they have “Santa” write back. 

I received a call saying that my DVD has been shipped and the next day it was on my doorstep!  I had no clue it was going to be overnighted!  When I received our customized DVD I was so excited to pop it in and watch it.  So as soon as bedtime rolled around I turned on the TV and watched it...TWICE.  I was so shocked to see a real person/actor playing Santa and he really speaks right to the kids; they did not use a computer generated voice or dubbing effects.  He even said how much the reindeer loved the carrots that M left on the front porch!  It was 100% customized and 100% awesome!!  I think we will end up getting one every year.  What a great way to make the best morning ever....even better?! 

Making a DVD is so simple; you just fill in the blanks. You can chose up to 5 children and/or pets and Santa will address them all personally.  Before you submit your DVD you have to opportunity to review “the script” that Santa is going to say on the DVD.
