Don’t forget to pack your SOLO.  I absolutely love this feature.  It is great for keeping us cool when we sit on the porch during these hot summer days/nights.  We also use it every night in the bedroom.  It not only moistens the dry air but it cools the room making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.  We also sometimes use the SOLO in the living room during the day so that the air conditioner does not have to work as hard.  And it lasts for about 10+ hours on one gallon of water!!

As the instructions state, be sure to keep the front of the unit 3 feet away from anything because it does mist a little.  Although, I have not noticed any leaking or moisture collecting underneath the unit after use, I still place it on a towel while in use.
