Thermal-Aid Heating & Cooling Packs Review/Zoo Animal & Sectional Giveaway!

Finding a good quality re-useable heating pad for a reasonable price has been a challenge.  Year after year I have purchased those chincy “re-useable” heating packs.  You know the ones where you pop the metal piece inside and it hardens as it heats, then you have to boil it to use it again; those are such a pain.   Well thanks to Thermal-Aid, my search is finally over.
The Thermal-Aid packs eliminate pain and swelling due to arthritis, sports injuries, back pain, and more. Their products range in size and can be used as hot or cold therapy packs. Thermal Aid currently offers small, medium, & large sectionals, a tube (to drape around neck/shoulders), a small pack and their ZooAnimals.  All of the packs can be heated in the microwave, cooled in the freezer, and are made from 100% natural cotton.

Thermal-Aid heating/cooling packs were developed using a process that removes the germ tip cap and outer coat from each kernel of corn, leaving only the purest and cleanest portion. This also hardens the corn, and allows it to hold temperatures for long periods of time and eliminates mold often associated with natural heating/cooling products.
I was sent both a Thermal Aid medium sectional and a Thermal-Aid Zoo Animal for review.  I absolutely love the medium sectional; it fits perfectly on my lower back.  If heated up properly the heat is so soothing.  I also noticed that the heat lasts longer than any of my other packs (which are now in the garbage).  I like the fact that it is quick to heat and quick to cool, so it is there when you need it.
Now on to the adorable, cuddly Thermal-Aid Zoo Animals.  They have 7 loveable animals to choose from.  We received Ollie Koala.  M loves her Ollie.  She requests that I warm it for her every night.  It is so soothing that it puts her right to sleep.  I just microwave it for 45 seconds to 1 minute and it is the perfect temperature.  It does have a slight odor (from the corn) but nothing too pungent.  Much like the sectional  I received, it too doubles as a cooling pack for those “playground” boo-boo’s!  I absolutely love that it is washable too.
