Woolzies Dryer Balls Giveaway and Review!

I know what you are all thinking. Really, what’s so great about dryer balls?  Well let me tell you about Woolzies!  I actually heard really great things about these particular dryer balls from another blog and as an Eco-friendly mommy, I just had to try them for myself.   So I contacted Soft by Nature in hopes of doing a review!

The Competition                    

For 120 dryer sheets you are going to spend about $5.  So you would need to buy 8.3 boxes to last you 1000 loads.  That’s almost $42 dollars!  Woolzies retail for only $19.99 for a 3-pack (used for small to medium loads) and 34.99 for a 6-pack (used for large loads).  So not only are you potentially saving almost $20(every thousand loads) by switching but you are also avoiding harmful chemicals.

The Review

Woolzies are the best wool dryer balls EVER.  They have significantly reduced my dry time, especially when drying our towels.  I also noticed a huge difference in the absorbency of our towels, not only are they softer but the tend to dry better.  I love that I am not only saving money but also avoiding all of those harsh chemicals found in fabric softener.   

I was also amazed to find how many of our clothes were completely wrinkle-free.   And with our old dryer balls, I could never run the dryer during learning time with M or on movie night with Hubby because the noise was very loud and distracting.  I do not have that problem with Woolzies; they are nearly undetectable when the dryer is going.  The only "down side" to these is having to keep track of all 6 balls, lol!

If only these had been around 3 years ago when I was pregnant with M.  I was super crazy about any chemicals that touched my body.  From shampoo and deodorant to laundry soap and fabric softener.  I wanted to protect my baby the best way I knew how.   So I was often stinky and static-y, lol.     

Would I recommend Woolzies? Absolutely!

The secret to heavenly scented laundry:

After the laundry is dry, take out 2 of the Woolzies balls and apply desired amount of pure essential oil to each ball. Toss the 2 back into the dryer and run on Air Fluff (no heat) for 10 minutes. Your laundry will smell heavenly and the scent will linger for several days!

Allergic to wool?  That’s ok, because Woolzies never shed therefore do not directly touch your skin!
