Boogie Wipes Review & Giveaway!

With cold and flu season right around the corner, it’s not a bad idea to start stocking up on tissues.  And don’t forget the petroleum jelly for those sore, red noses.  Because of the dry rubbing even the tissues with lotion still irritate noses.   Well, moms Julie Pickens & Mindee Doney have found the solution…Boogie Wipes

Unlike baby wipes, Boogie Wipes contain absolutely no alcohol so they will not sting an irritated nose.  Instead these moist wipes contain saline.  This is genius because saline aids in the removal of dried snot from around your child’s nose.

Boogie wipes can also be use for other baby messes, like sticky hands or messy mouths. Their unique formula of natural saline, chamomile, vitamin E, and aloe dissolves mucus while moisturizing!  They are hypoallergenic, super soft, and gentle enough for all ages.  They are also pediatrician recommended and contain no additives like phthalate and paraben.

When M is sick and not feeling well, she refuses to blow her nose because it hurts.  But when I let her feel just how soft the Boogie Wipes were, she voluntarily blew her nose  (it didn’t hurt that the packaging has a fun kid friendly design)!  The best thing about these wipes is that they actually cleared up her chapped nose!!  That’s right.  She had a runny nose a few days before I received my boogie wipes and her nose was as red as Rudolph’s!  After using maybe 2 wipes her nose was no longer red.  These are amazing.

Boogie Wipes are available in Great Grape, Fresh Scent, Minty Menthol, and Simply Unscented.  Some of the scents may be a little strong for some people but I assure you they smell good.  While the Grape is not my favorite, its not as gross as it may sound; M thinks its great and I think it makes blowing a little more appealing!
They come packaged in canisters great for at home or in the classroom, smaller packs perfect for diaperbags or glove compartment, and pocket size Boogie Blasters (12 count pack of individually wrapped Boogie Berry scented wipes).

And coming in January of 2013:

  • 10 count pack of Boogie Wipes in Fresh and Grape
  • Cotton Candy scented Boogie Blasters
  • Boogie Mist-saline mist with a twist

Boogie Wipes don't absorb anything, so if your child's nose is a faucet you may need to use regular tissues as well.  If you're just removing dried up snot or wiping stuffy noses, they are perfect.  Boogie Wipes are definitely less irritating than regular tissues, so use them when you can.
